Faint Fall Sun Trench

This British wool trench is meant to be both a standalone piece and one that falls back in the background.  Both suitable for fall when the faint sun touches your collarbone or for early winter layered with a sweater. These relaxed sleeves leave room for movement. From slow walks in the park to a slightly rushed rhythm, one is held together by the waist cord and one’s hands will only know warmth inside side pockets.

Shy and daring

Loose or tight

all covered or collarbone revealed

I carry myself through changing seasons

and various life stances;

I’m fully clothed in finest fabrics

the movement of fall leaves

under my feet

a sonnet;

In this very instance

I find myself the most free I have ever been

these loose sleeves

endlessly caressed in my wool trench;

through muddy trenches and calm still waters

I carry myself unwaveringly,

everything falls into its right order

when generated by my fully sustained initial inner order;
